I supported teachers and students in adult education with purposeful uses of technology to enhance learning.
I taught basic French to students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. To make learning relevant for them, I integrated a lot of technology into their learning situations and developed a web page for the core French program at http://francais.tracyrosen.com
I worked in a close knit pedagogical team as we taught approximately 50 students / year. We used a relationship-based approach to teaching coupled with a strong understanding of curriculum to guide our students to success.
I supported teaches in their efforts to support the students in their classrooms.
I designed and implemented individual and group resource programs for high school students with different academic, social, and/or emotional issues. As a history teacher I developed a program based in a layered curriculum approach to the teaching of the History of Quebec and Canada so as to meet the needs of the diverse learners in my classroom. 85% of the students in my class passed the course. These were students who had been targeted to fail based on their past academic record.
