Hi, I'm Tracy Rosen, Resource Teacher and Independent Education Consultant from Les Cèdres, Quebec.

I have a drive for connecting people to the resources that will support them in their ongoing learning. My expertise in organizational and professional development and passion for ensuring that students have access to the academic, social, and emotional support services they need to succeed help to feed that drive. While I firmly believe that technology plays an important role in learning, I hold even stronger to the tenet that pedagogy must trump technology. I designed and implemented individual and group resource programs for high school students with different academic, social, and/or emotional issues. As a history teacher I developed a program based in a layered curriculum approach to the teaching of the History of Quebec and Canada so as to meet the needs of the diverse learners in my classroom. 85% of the students in my class passed the course. These were students who had been targeted to fail based on their past academic record.
